i heard that salty food may cause hairloss to dogs, how about "sea salt" as one of the dog food ingredients? can it cause hair loss too? can ear mites cause hair loss?

As far as I know, no salty foods can't cause hair loss, however too much salt can cause kidney problems. However, sea salt can be really good for dogs in the right amount. (sea salt is different then table salt and sea salt is much healthier.) If hair loss is occurring around the ears of a dog then there is a good chance that the dog does have ear mites. The ear mites would make the dog's ears itch and so he/she would scratch their fur off trying to get rid of the itch.
